Mint condition Breitling Old Navitimer II automatic chronograph. Serviced by Breitling through Laings in 2019 costing £630 plus had a new strap fitted at the time. The straps cost £160. It has just refreshed, lubricated and regulated prior to advertising. It was originally purchased from authorised Breitling dealers Burrells in Tunbridge Wells, Kent in 2010. It comes complete with all boxes and papers including the slide rule instructions, warranty booklet and all other peripherals. The Navitimer was first introduced in 1952, the Navitimer provided pilots and air crews with a highly innovative chronograph design. This particular one with this dial configuration is now discontinued and is a sought after model. For the first time, a watch featured a "navigation computer" capable of executing every calculation a flight plan requires. These include: multiplication, division, calculating ground speed, calculating miles per hour, calculating miles per minute, calculating fuel consumption, calculating rate of climb or descent, calculating the distance of climb or descent and nautical and statute mile conversion. This is a true professional instrument watch that has been adapted to today's even more strenuous requirements.
